The General 2010 Ocean Crest Pier Rules/Policies

1. All Anglers are required to begin their day/night fishing by purchasing a 2010 fishing pass. Those are available in a variety of forms (Daily, Multi-day, and Seasonal) at the pier house tackle shop counter. It is a lawful requirement under NC Marine Fishery Laws and Licensing Mandates that each angler attempting to take fish from the natural resources of the state be licensed to do so, before those activities begin. Anglers fishing from the property of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. who have obtained properly purchased pier fishing passes “are covered” under the businesses 2010 NC Coastal Blanket Pier Fishing License. Any angler found to be upon the property and attempting to "take fish" with-out a valid 2010 Ocean Crest Pier Fishing Pass “are not covered” under our blanket license and subject to being fined by NC Marine Fishery Officers and immediately and permanently removed from the premises and property of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. Anglers fishing upon the premises of the pier property are agreeing to abide by all rules and policies, which are subject to change without notice or refunds.

2. Ocean Crest Pier Inc. is lawfully licensed for the On Premise Sale and Consumption and Off Premise Sale of malted “Beer only”, you must purchase your beer here in order that that you consume it here. We are your “Bartenders” and its required of us that we obey the laws of the state while serving our patrons alcoholic beverages, it is our responsibility determining whether or not it is lawfully allowable or feasible in our best interest to do so. Its is unlawful under NC Alcohol and Beverage Control laws for any person fishing or visiting the property of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. to attempt to bring upon or consume any alcoholic beverage purchased elsewhere. Any person attempting to do so shall be removed permanently without refund from the premises and immediately become subject to investigation and or arrest by local and state law enforcement officials. We may lawfully refuse the sale/purchase of alcoholic beverages to any person we so chose “with-out further explanation”. It is the policy of the business of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. that all NC ABC laws be followed by our patrons and visitors without exception.

3. All anglers fishing upon the property of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. are expected and required to abide by all current NC Marine Fishery Laws, Regulations and Mandates regarding per angler bag limits and specie limitations. Anglers, their catches and their property are subject to inspection and investigation by the company’s employees, management and NC Marine Fishery Officials, and anglers may become subject to immediate and permanent barring from the business property/with-out refund, and become subject to fines and or arrest for any violations of the aforementioned NC Marine Fishery Laws, Regulations and Mandates. Ocean Crest Pier Inc. reserves the right to restrict any catch which may endanger the patrons and visitors upon the premises of the property.

4. It is unlawful to loiter upon the property of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. during or after business hours. Business hours vary according to economic and seasonal weather and market conditions. Any person deemed to be loitering by company employees and management shall become subject to investigation, eviction and or arrest by local law enforcement officials.

Our intentions are not to restrict any persons privledge to have a fun and relaxing time while on the premises of Ocean Crest Pier Inc. It is our intentions that all persons attempting to do so be provided a lawful, safe and productive atmosphere while visiting here.
