OCP's 1st Annual "Fishing For a Cure" August 21st

We're Proud to announce that Ocean Crest Pier will be hosting our 1st Annual "Fishing For a Cure" August 21st 2010.

All proceeds from the fishing event will be donated directly to further finding a cure for this dreaded disease.

The details.....Raffle Drawing for a 2010 "Smart Car". One Smart car will be given away August 21st 2010, by raffle ticket drawing in conjuction with our efforts to raise much needed funds, in the search of a cure for cancer. Sadly and as many of you know....... medical research, includes patient treatment.

Many folks do not have the financial resources or insurance available to begin the ardious emotional and physical battle the dreaded disease neccesitates inorder that they have a fighting chance at survival. It is our intentions here at Ocean Crest Pier, that we involve ourselves by action, in recognizing the immediate needs of the illy affllicted and suffering by raising the donated funds and providing them directly to the Duke Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Center (Duke Fund), In Chapel Hill North Carolina. 100 % of the ( Smart Car) Raffle proceeds are being appropriated to their efforts there.

Further details and updates later in the week. But heres the jest of the important details........Ok.....We'll be giving away the (SMART) car by raffle tickect draw, on August 21st.

You may acquire a raffle ticket in one of two fashions, The 1st is, as a participating contestant in the fishing contest, held August 21st. Each contestant who pays the $25 to join the fun, and compete for a wide variety of other great prizes, also gets
( One Raffle Ticket) .

The other method is for those folks who will not or can not participate in the fishing contest itself, but still like a opportunity to acquire a rafflle ticket by making a minimum contribution of $25 to our cause. This allows foks from afar to join in helping our cause.................

Tickets will be available to any person that makes that $25 as a single donation, and for each incremental additional $25 contribution, would recieve another raffle ticket.

So for example......if a person was to make a $100 donation, that individual would recieve ( 4 Raffle Ticket's) as so forth.

Lets all be Be Proud and Loud getting the word out seeing these efforts bare the fruit of Hope of Survival through finding a Permanent Cure to Cancers!
